Spring Fly-in Rained Out, Plan for Fall Event in Larned
The spring fly-in set for April 4 is a rain-out. We will try again next year to have a spring pattern testing for all interested pilots, a free event for those who are paid KAAA members. The spring fly-in, previously set for Coffey County Airport in Burlington, had eight RSVPs. Due to impending rain and thunderstorms that event had to be cancelled.
KAAA will host a fall pattern testing in Larned. Watch the website and your mailbox for those details.
KAAA is always grateful for its Allied members who offer financial support that covers the cost of lunch and expenses for the fly-in event.

This event is free to all paid KAAA members (voting and associate levels).

- Fly-in begins at 7 a.m. and continues through the day.
- Attendee Drawing for two $100 fuel fill-ups

KAAA Fall Fly-in Set for Oct. 13-14 in Goodland. Click for info.
Calling all ag pilots the KAAA fall fly-in is set for Oct. 13-14, 2016 at the Goodland Airport, Goodland, Kansas. The fly-in is being co-hosted by the Colorado Agricultural Aviation Association.
Two $100 fuel fill-ups will be drawn for and all pilots who attend are eligible for this drawing. A 1A credit will be offered for fly-in participation and analyzation will once again be offered by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Alan Corr and KAAA’s own Sam Styron. A second 1A credit can also be earned by attending Corr’s presentation that day.
The pattern testing is free to all paid KAAA members for 2016 and 2017. Attendees should RSVP to John Holzmeister at (785) 672-0147.
Watch the KAAA webpage for weather updates. In case of inclement weather the fly-in will continue on Friday, Oct. 14.
